Privacy policy
This policy sets out how personal data is handled on this website. It follows the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP); for visitors from the EU/EEA the GDPR applies in addition.

No representative in the EU under Art. 27 GDPR has been appointed. The processing is limited to individual contact enquiries made through the form on this website.
2. What is collected
Through the form on the start page:
- Name — required
- Email address — required
- Company or agency — optional
- The interest you select — product updates, or an application for a pilot place
- Free text — optional, only with a pilot application
- Language version, timestamp and your consent — so that it stays traceable when and to what you consented
When the site is loaded, the hosting provider also records technical access data in server logfiles (IP address, time, file requested, browser type). This is necessary to operate and secure the site. Vercel keeps these logs for a short period only; the exact duration depends on the plan in use.
3. Purpose
Your details are used only to send you product updates about Weddinations and to talk to you about taking part in the pilot programme. There is no profiling and no automated decision-making.
4. Legal basis
The basis is your consent, given actively when you submit the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; under the FADP, consent pursuant to Art. 6 FADP). You may withdraw it at any time — an email to the address above is enough. Withdrawal takes effect for the future and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
5. Recipients and processors
Your details are not sold and not passed to third parties for advertising. Only the following have access:
- Hosting provider — Vercel Inc., USA. Operates the website and runs the form processing. It is served from the Frankfurt (fra1) region. Vercel privacy policy
- Email provider — Hostinger. Runs the mailbox info@eight-horizon.com and sends and stores your message; server locations follow their own infrastructure. Hostinger privacy policy
Vercel also processes data in the United States. The basis for this are the standard contractual clauses that form part of Vercel's data processing agreement.
6. Retention
Your details are kept until the purpose is met or you withdraw your consent — at most 24 months after the last contact. They are then deleted. After a withdrawal the data is deleted without delay, unless a statutory retention obligation applies.
7. Your rights
- Access — what data is held about you
- Rectification — have incorrect details corrected
- Erasure — have your data deleted
- Restriction and objection — limit the processing
- Portability — receive your data in a common format
- Withdrawal of consent — at any time, with effect for the future
An informal email is enough. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, in the EU/EEA the authority responsible for you.
